Mentalists are "cool-but-very-serious" people. Most of these guys dress in black. Some will literally glue their index fingers directly to their foreheads.
But they often forget that most people don't even know what mentalism is. A mentalist is a psychic entertainer. He'll read minds. He'll make impossible predictions. He'll make you go "Oooooooo" and "Ahhhhh." In short, mentalism rocks.
Heavy Mental adds one extra component: Laughter. The sounds you'll hear at my shows are the conventional "Ooooooo...Ahhhhh... " (Maybe a little louder.) But you'll also hear "ha ha titter (snort) ha ha..." and then "HUH? How did he do THAT?"
I'm about blending jaw-dropping surprises with comedy. It's a mix that has taken me to conventions, trade shows, corporate events, fairs and exhibitions all over North America since 1990. I've worked with Fortune 500 companies and I've done intimate house parties.
